She was born Ariana Grande-Butera on June 26, 1993 in Boca Raton, Florida. Her mother, Joan Grande, was a chief executive officer at Hose-McCann Communications, while her father, Edward Butera, was a graphic designer, photographer, artist, and the owner and founder of Ibi Designs Inc. In 2008, she had a starring part in the musical 13; nonetheless, it was her appearances on Nickelodeon that brought her first to widespread recognition. Not only did she lend her voice to the character Diaspro in Nickelodeon’s reboot of Winx Club (2004), but she also starred as Cat Valentine in the network’s comedies Victorious (2010) and Sam & Cat (2013).
