An American actress, voice actor, singer, composer, dancer, and ukulele player, Isabela Yolanda Moner is now officially known as Isabela Merced. She came to prominence as a voice actress. She is well-known for her roles in the films Transformers: The Last Knight (2017), Sicario: Day of the Soldado (2018), Instant Family (2018), and Dora and the Lost City of Gold (2019), in which she plays the title character. In addition to that, Merced was a member of the cast of the Nickelodeon television series “100 Things to Do Before High School.” She was just ten years old when she made her debut on Broadway in a staging of “Evita.” The film “The House That Jack Built” (2013) was her first film of any kind.

Merced has stated that she has had the desire to be an actor ever since she was a very young child. She recalls being inspired by films like Shirley Temple and Judy Garland, and she began performing in community theater when she was only six years old. On what was meant to be her last day in New York City during the summer that she spent auditioning there, Merced was presented with the opportunity to land her first work, which was a commercial for Claritin. She made her debut on Broadway when she was 10 years old, performing in a rendition of Evita with Ricky Martin. In the show, she sang in Spanish.

From 2014 to 2016, Merced made his debut as a leading actor in the Nickelodeon television series 100 Things to Do Before High School, in which he played the part of CJ Martin, the show’s protagonist. In the same year, she began delivering the voice of Kate, one of the major characters in the Dora and Friends: Into the City! spinoff, which she did from 2014 to 2017. She continued to do so until 2017. In 2015, she had an appearance in the Nickelodeon Original Movie Splitting Adam, playing the part of Lori Collins. In 2016, she was cast in the role of Sadie, which was one of the major roles in the Nickelodeon Original Movie Legends of the Hidden Temple. Merced’s first studio album, titled Stopping Time, was released on September 18, 2015, and Broadway Records was the label that was responsible for its production.
