Maya Ray Thurman Hawke is a model and actress for the United States of America. She was born on July 8, 1998. Her mother is Uma Thurman, and her father is Ethan Hawke, both of whom are actors. In 2017, she made her debut in the role of Jo March in the BBC version of Little Women. Since the third season of Stranger Things (2016), she has been starring as Robin in the Netflix series Stranger Things.

New York City was the location of Hawke’s birth on July 8, 1998. She is the older of the two children that her parents had together. In May of 1998, her parents tied the knot, then in 2005, they divorced. Her parents first met on the set of Gattaca (1997). The year 2002 saw the birth of Hawke’s brother. Additionally, she is the mother of two half-sisters, who were born in 2008 and 2011 respectively, by her father’s second wife, Ryan Shawhughes. An additional half-sister, who was born in 2012, is the product of her mother’s previous relationship with the financier Arpad Busson.
