Nicole Scherzinger
The 29th of June, 1978 found Nicole Scherzinger being born in Honolulu, and she spent her childhood in Louisville, Kentucky. The Coca-Cola Classic Talent Contest was won by her while she was attending a high school that specialized in performing arts, and she also participated in a number of productions at The Actors Theatre of Louisville. After that, she continued her education by enrolling at Wright State University and majored in theater arts. Prior to that, she participated in the first season of the television show Popstars (2000), which was produced by the WB. During that time, she garnered the position of lead vocalist in the female pop group Eden’s Crush.
Scherzinger has been a judge on a number of different talent programs that have been broadcast on television. Some of these shows include The Sing-Off (2009–2010), The X Factor US (2011), The X Factor UK (2012–2013, 2016–2017), Australia’s Got Talent (2019), and The Masked Singer (2019–2023). Her victory on the television dance competition show dance with the Stars came in the year 2010, when she participated in the competition. In addition, she appeared in the Disney animated feature Moana (2016), the television film Dirty Dancing (2017), and the television special Annie Live! (2021) during this time period. Her other work during this time period includes parts in the theatrical productions of Cats (2014) and Sunset Boulevard (2023–2024).
Additionally, Scherzinger has been nominated for two Laurence Olivier Awards and a Grammy Award throughout the course of her career. It was for her portrayal as Norma Desmond in the 2023 West End production of Sunset Boulevard that she was awarded the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Musical in the year 2024. Her other endeavors include the creation of fragrances and apparel lines, as well as the promotion of the Special Olympics and the support of UNICEF UK. She is also an ambassador for the Special Olympics.
