American actress Rachel Brosnahan was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in the year 1990. She is a native of the United States. ‘Midge’ Maisel, the character she plays in the Amazon Prime Video series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (2017), has earned her a number of accolades, including two Golden Globes for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy (2019, 2018), one Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series (2018), and one Critics’ Choice Award for Best Actress in a Comedy Series (2018). She is most well-known for her role in the series.

Following her debut in the horror film The Unborn (2009), she went on to make appearances in the films Beautiful Creatures (2013), Louder Than Bombs (2015), The Finest Hours (2016), and Patriots Day (2016). Her career had its beginnings in the horror film. Brosnahan appeared in the television show House of Cards on many occasions, and she was subsequently nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for her interpretation of the character.

After appearing as a stand-up comic in the Amazon Video series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (2017–present), Brosnahan gained considerable notoriety for her contributions to the show. As a result of her performance, she was honored with the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series in 2018, as well as two Golden Globe Awards for Best Actress in a Television Series Musical or Comedy in 2018 and 2019.
