Ryan Reynolds
Ryan Rodney Reynolds was the youngest of four children and was born on October 23, 1976 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He was the sole kid of his family. James Chester Reynolds, his father, was a food distributor, and Tamara Lee “Tammy” (Stewart), his mother, worked as a saleswoman in retail stores. He was named after those two individuals. Among his ancestors are Irish and Scottish people. From 1991 to 1993, Ryan was a cast member in the Nickelodeon series Fifteen (1990), which was filmed in Florida and included a large number of other Canadian performers. Immediately following the conclusion of the series, he went back to Vancouver, where he appeared in a string of television movies that were mostly forgotten. Both the 1995 film Serving in Silence: The Margarethe Cammermeyer Story, directed by Glenn Close, and the 1996 remake of In Cold Blood, produced by CBS, featured him in supporting parts. However, he made the decision to stop acting as a result of his fortunate run of events.
Co-owner of the Welsh association football team Wrexham A.F.C. and a film producer, he is also involved in the film industry. Throughout the course of his thirty-year career in cinema and television, he has been honored with a number of accolades, including a Critics’ Choice Movie Award, three People’s Choice Awards, a Grammy Award, a Golden Globe nomination, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. It is estimated that he has earned more over $5 billion at box offices throughout the world, making him one of the highest-grossing cinema performers of all time.
