On their Christmas card this year, Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex were kind enough to offer a photograph of their children that is quite memorable.
The greeting card, which was made available to the public on Monday, is a collage of photographs shot at various times during the year.
In a casual family shot, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are seen crouching down with their arms extended; Prince Archie, who is five years old, and Princess Lilibet, who is three years old, are seen running towards them as their faces are concealed from the camera.
On the card, there are five more photographs, all of which illustrate engagements that occurred throughout the year.
The greeting card says, “We wish you a very happy holiday season and a joyful New Year on behalf of Archewell Productions and Archewell Foundation, the office of Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, and Archewell Productions.”
It is the first time since 2021 that Harry and Meghan have distributed a Christmas card that features their children, whose privacy they zealously protect. This year marks the first time that they have done so.
It was stated by the PA Media news agency in the United Kingdom that the festive greeting is intended for professional usage, and that the pair would send a second card to their immediate relatives and friends that will not be shared with the general public.
The Christmas cards of other members of the royal family have also been made available to the public.
This year, King Charles and Queen Camilla chose to have their Christmas card adorned with a photograph that was taken in April in the grounds of Buckingham Palace. The photograph was chosen since it was pretty casual.
On the other hand, Princess Anne selected a photograph that depicted her and her husband, Vice Admiral Tim Laurence, waving from a carriage during a formal parade in the month of June.
