‘RuPaul’s Drag Race UK’ Season 1 winner James Lee Williams, who performed as The Vivienne and was named the champion of the competition, has passed away. Williams was a drag performer. Allegedly, they were 32 years old. Nobody was able to determine what caused the death.

The news was verified via a post on Instagram that was made by Simon Jones, the manager of The Vivienne. Jones wrote on Sunday, “It is with immense sadness that we let you know that our beloved James Lee Williams – The Vivienne, has passed away this weekend.” James was an incredible, kind-hearted, and magnificent individual who was adored by many.

Jones continued by saying, “Their family is inconsolable over the loss of their son, brother, and uncle.” The amazing achievements that James has accomplished in their life and job are a source of immense pride for them.

RuPaul’s Drag Race UK’s inaugural season, which took place in 2019, was won by the Vivienne, who later participated on the seventh season of “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars,” which took place in 2022.
