Fans of Madonna are split by the singer’s photographs that were created by artificial intelligence and showed her standing next the Pope.

The singer known for her hit song “Material Girl,” whose full name is Madonna Louise Ciccone, whipped her numerous admirers into a frenzy after she uploaded the two pictures on the internet.

The first snapshot that Madonna posted to her Instagram story showed the singer, who is 66 years old, wearing a black lace dress and cuddling up close to Pope Francis, who is the leader of the Catholic Church. The appearance of Pope Francis was such that he appeared to be grasping her arm while pressing his nose to her cheek. She captioned the photo with the phrase, “Going into the weekend like…”

Additionally, she added, “Feels good to be seen,” on the following slide, which was accompanied by a second picture of her wearing a black bustier. In this photograph, Pope Francis is seen with his arm around Madonna’s waist, giving the impression that he is having a conversation with her.

Below the message, Madonna included a red tag that was directed toward the Instagram account of the meme artist, @rickdick_.

In spite of the fact that the contentious photographs were intended to be humorous, a number of the “Popular” icon’s followers were neither impressed nor amused by them. Additionally, many were of the opinion that her posts were “creepy” and “inappropriate.”

There were a number of people who were troubled to express their ideas on X/Twitter. The statement “This is creepy as hell” was made by one individual, while another individual made the observation that “It’s funny and pathetic at the same time.”

Madonna shares AI-generated pictures of her and Pope Francis on her Instagram Story

An other third party stated, “This is yet another web full of AI s*** that is tentative.” Nonsense, depressing, and a wasteful application of the technologies available in the modern world. Is there a message to you? Where do you want to go with this?

On the other hand, in spite of all the critiques, a significant number of Madonna’s fans supported her, stating that these photographs were an extension of her sense of humor.

Where are the ‘fans’ that are truly upset? She has a wicked sense of humor, which we adore. One person remarked on X, “She did nothing more than repost photos that had been going around for days.” As this was going on, another person said, “She is so real for that omg.”

It was in 1989 when Madonna released her music video for “Like a Prayer,” which sexualized Jesus and included burning crosses. This was the beginning of Madonna’s history with the Catholic church.

The pop icon credited @rickdick_ for the photos

The Vatican issued a ban on the film not long after it was made available to the public. Roberto de Mattei, a historian of the Roman Catholic religious, stated that the movie is both a sacrilege and an insult since it depicts immoral behavior within a religious sanctuary.

Other members of the Catholic church were also irritated by the video, and as a result, they discouraged their congregations and communities from listening to Madonna.

Through the use of X/Twitter, the performer of “Hung Up” made contact with Pope Francis in the month of May 2022.

Madonna claims she’s a ‘good catholic’ in message to Pope Francis on X

It was written by her: “Hello, @Pontifex Francis —Yes, I am a devout Catholic. I utter a curse! I mean, I don’t use profanity! The last time I confessed to something was quite a few decades ago.

One day, would it be feasible for us to get together and talk about certain issues that are really important? I’ve been kicked out of the faith three times. It does not appear to be fair. She concluded by saying, “Sincerely, Madonna.”
